I found the lift door closed on my suitcase. Brute force was required for release.

i stayed in a double or twin room. the room was spacious with great amenities. it had patio doors that opened directly onto the garden. the breakfast menu included many options and all food was perfectly prepared.
my coffee machine had no instructions about how to use it. the bathroom would have been upgraded with a shower foot mat. there was also no toilet brush.

The staff was friendly and EFFICIENT. the room was comfortable. the open fire in the bar was very nice. I spent the evening there. when i arrived late for breakfast, the staff still served a full cooked breakfast.
i booked a junior suite with a double bed, but it was two single beds pushed together. they were not secured, and this was for our wedding anniversary. the receptionist didn't apologize for the double bed mixup.

The breakfast had five hot menu choices making the service efficient. The staff were attentive and excellent. The spacious room came with toiletries, bottled water, tea, and coffee. The serving staff were friendly and helpful.
The furniture was not new, particularly the sofa. The bedding was like average quality. I booked dinner one evening. When we arrived, the dining room was full.
